Alice Chambers is a theatre director and dramaturg from Chester, currently living and working in Birmingham. She is particularly interested in text-based work that is form-bending and engages playfully with theatre as a tool for systemic liberation. Her work centres on collaborative processes, radical imagination, and a love for all things deadpan. Recent credits include: The Nag's Head (Park Theatre), Sky Comedy Rep (Birmingham Rep), and Little Amal (The Walk). She also works as a reader for prizes and buildings, including Papatango, Royal Court, and Victoria Wood. Currently, she is producing a Hindi adaptation of 'A Marriage Proposal' at the MAC and directing a production of 'Wuthering Heights' with the 18-25 Company at the Rep, for the Love and Rebellion Festival this July.
